Janitor Manager
Summary

Our company is looking for a Janitorial Manager to supervise our cleaning staff at multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Porter, Janitor, Housekeeper, or similar role; any positions where maintaining a clean environment, general housekeeping, and janitorial maintenance is preferred. Full Time 2nd shift but needs to be flexible to work daytime and weekends on short notice. You will be responsible for the workmanship of a set number of accounts, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness. All applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Must have own transportation.

You will be a floating cleaner: you may have multiple smaller buildings to clean/ inspect as well as be responsible for filling in for absent employees where needed. Additional hours can be achieved with detail work at miscellaneous buildings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure staffing for your assigned accounts
• Manage daily schedules, including lunches and breaks
• Train new staff
• Keep track of inventory needs
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including evaluations
• Maintain quality standards
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Basic janitorial duties
• Fill in for absent team members

Requirements and Qualifications

• Janitorial or housekeeping experience strongly preferred
• Human resources or management experience is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks as needed
• Organizational and leadership skills
• Basic computer proficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
